Desired Profile: Functional role description
Independent execution of the following tasks
# Provide support in the day-to-day operations of Orion application including fail & fix activities.
# Proactively engage in the initiatives to improve / stabilize the above system.

Primary Responsibilities:
# To undertake and perform day and after hours production support activities for Orion application.
# To ensure that all production related issues are handled in the ANZ specified production support procedures.
# Responsible for ensuring agreed SLA’s are achieved. Should exhibit judgment and decision making to escalate issues and risks to the relevant managers.
# Provide day to day support of all incidents, which includes
# Recommend solutions for support related problems
# monitoring AHD Incident queues
# following the application’s incident management guidelines and processes
# escalate with other IT partners and
# Communicate with customers / business areas on progress and closure.
# Understand the Orion application technically to undertake maintenance and support
# Responsible for providing quality solutions / changes for change requirements by
# Debug, analyze and fix errors in existing modules / system / application
# Produce documentation containing sufficient information to explain the working and logic flow of the programs
# Prepare implementation instructions and assist in the preparation of user documentations
# Liaise with the development team to understand the changes to be implemented as part of the project releases in the production systems.

Essential Profile:
# Requires relevant technical work experience.
# Requires basic knowledge of business operations and systems requirement processes.
# Sound understanding of computer systems programming
# Good analytical skills
# Sound programming skills
# Technical skills in ASP, VC++, SQL, Windows Environment
# Good verbal and written communication skills for effective communication with partners
